Family owned and operated, Mary’s ABC Academy Day Care Center is considered by many to be a hidden gem. Mary and her daughters, Jessica and Carol, have 12 years of experience providing a socially sound and robust educational foundation on which children can build a successful future. Mary’s offers children’s daycare, educational programs, and preschool. Children learn respect, to share, and above all, they learn that learning is fun!

Moreover, communication with parents is vital to the progress of every child under Mary’s care. Parents receive regular updates on their child’s classroom experiences and every new milestone is shared. Naturally, every parent must be involved with their child’s developmental journey and learning experiences.

Wellness is also important at Mary’s ABC Academy Day Care Center; they teach every child healthy eating habits, teach safety habits, and provide opportunities to play and exercise. These activities build self-esteem, an essential element in early childhood development.

When you first walk through the doors, you’ll notice that Mary’s is a state-of-the-art, immaculately clean daycare center for toddlers and pre-kindergarten age children. The spacious facility is a bright, clean, and fun place for your child to play and learn. The nurturing and experienced caregivers foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which your child will feel safe and can grow.

Mary’s staff creates opportunities for your child to explore and learn about the world; Mary and her staff of experienced and highly trained teachers work one-on-one with each child in a safe, clean and secure environment. One of their primary focuses is working with the children to develop their fine motor skills. Our teachers promote independence and foster your child’s self-confidence by encouraging creativity and a positive attitude and by developing healthy habits.

Toddlers learn constantly, and Mary’s educational programs center around the toddler age. Every child gets the special attention they need and deserve, and a schedule of activities is developed for each child’s individual needs. Children feel safe and secure when a routine is followed.

Pre-K is important, and Mary’s recognizes the importance of consistently following a daily schedule when it comes to a young child’s education. However, they understand that each child grows and learns at their own pace. The curriculum is designed not only for a child’s age but also for their individual stage of learning.

The educational programs at Mary’s ABC Academy Day Care Center also include activities such as music and dance classes, as well as field trips. Mary’s preschool program prepares your child for kindergarten. Activities like reading aloud during circle time to drawing and painting with watercolors help to develop a child’s self-expression skills.

Participating in the activities of daily life also helps to mold a child’s character. For example, during mealtime, the children participate in setting the table; this fosters a sense of responsibility, which should be introduced at a young age. Mary’s encourages participation in all daily activities, helping to not only form good habits and a sense of responsibility, but to also stimulate creativity.

Mary’s serves healthy breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks daily, and meals are cooked on the premises. Children also get to play in an enclosed gym, even when it’s cold, windy, and snowing outside.

Very unorganized and unprofessional. I found out that on some days there was only one person taking care of all the kids which is very dangerous to the children. Also, they kept losing my daughter’s things and lying to my face that they’ve given them to me. They’re on their phones and playing cartoons for the kids when they should be doing activities with the kids. Overall a bad more

Mary’s ABC Academy is a wonderful daycare! As a mom and teacher, it was super important that I could find a place I could trust to take care of my 2 year old daughter. I searched for months, set up tours, had a list of questions ready, compared and visited many daycares before I finally found one that made me feel like, “Yes! This is a place where my daughter will feel safe, loved and grow!” And that place was Mary’s.The lead teacher, Jessica, is so kind and patient. She always has time to meet and tell you how your child is doing as well as discuss any concerns you or she may be having or even just to praise how well your little one is doing. Mary is usually with the younger kids (fourteen months-twenty four months, I think) and every time I see her she is right there with them either reading or playing with them. My daughter comes home everyday with a big smile on her face and says, “Mommy! I had so much fun today!” She’s constantly singing new songs and is so proud of the artwork she makes that week. They have fun events for the kids like puppet shows and Minnie and Mickey visits. The daycare itself is colorful, clean, organized and honestly, it’s what I was hoping it would look like. They have an open door policy, so we always feel free to stop by and check in on our little one (during nap time, we knock on the window instead of ringing the doorbell. Don’t wanna wake the littles!). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for childcare. The staff is genuinely happy to be there and I feel totally comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. Hopefully they have a spot open for my other daughter who will be old enough to join them next year because this is definitely the place she will be attending too! Highly recommend this place!read more

Our two children (ages 4 & 2) absolutely LOVE Mary’s ABC Academy. After taking some time to warm up, they now really look forward to “going to school”. Them seem to really enjoy the activities and learning exercises. They constantly talk about their teachers and classmates. Mary and her staff do a great job of providing progress reports and seem to really care about our children’s happiness and well being. We’d definitely recommend Mary’s ABC more
