Results from the TerraNova and BRIGANCE national assessments demonstrate that KinderCare kids are better prepared for first grade than other children. Whether they’re taking their first baby steps or learning how to share, they achieve their developmental milestones sooner.

By the time children are two, kids who’ve been with KinderCare since they were babies often reach those milestones six weeks before other toddlers. At five, KinderCare children are nearly nine months ahead. KinderCare kids who attend the programs for a year or more consistently test at a first grade level for math and reading before they even start the first grade.

However, early childhood education is about more than achieving knowledge. It’s also about helping a child develop the emotional and social skills they’ll need for the rest of their lives.
